2026 YTD Baseline Backtest
The latest audited baseline covers January 1 to September 25, 2026. It measures the Standard Trend technical engine with the optional external-data features switched off.
This is a historical simulation, not live account performance or a forecast.

- The original high-impact news blackout is bypassed by the EA in Strategy Tester.
- Reported commissions and swap included; no added execution delay or slippage stress.
- No optimization or model training was performed for this run.
The run used the 1.16 source with an audit-only export hook. Release 1.17 retains the technical execution functions. The final customer input cleanup hides legacy/debug controls, disables research logging and adds direct optional Trading Economics API access and data-status display. Optional data features remain off. This is not a separate backtest of the final customer build.
Interpretation
The result is positive, with three losing months. Profit factor 1.29 leaves a limited margin for worse execution costs. This sample supports continued forward observation; it does not establish live profitability or validate the optional data filters.
